interesting
It amazed me how ancient India could read the stars and planets and thought that they could determine our destiny. Not sure I believe in all that but found their comparison of Eastern & Western astrology very different. It's supposed to be an entry level read into Verdic astrology but I enjoyed it too. Not sure I've been turned into a believer, but it certainly was interesting.

Hindu Astrology
This was a good beginner's book about the Vedas. The book starts with a summary comparing Eastern and Western astrology then goes on to describe the Vedas and Vedic Astrology with a focus on Square and the Moon as opposed to Western Astrology characts that mainly focuses on the Sun and Circle. I also found the section on historical figuresin the Vedas was fascinating.

Really nice audible
I am a believer in Western Astrology and interested in finding out about the differences in the various forms of Astrology. I found this book very interesting and informative. Chock full of history on Vedic astrology. I was hoping to be able to establish a birth chart in Vedic, albeit getting a free one online which did not give me the complete parameters I was looking for.

You won't be disappointed.
I just got the book a week ago and I am so glad I bought it. Braha has revised the original in many subtle (and not so subtle) ways, and has again given us a major contribution to the study. In this day of spinoffs, it is nice to see timeless traditions being supported and the writing seems to come from a sacred place. Any student of astrology needs to have this book! You won't be disappointed.

Well-researched.
Super interesting book about Vedi/Hindu astrology. The significance of the findings are that the movement/patterns of the stars and planes can determine our destiny. While I don't know if I fully "buy it", I still found this book informative and interesting. I enjoyed the charts & diagrams and the book seemed well-researched.

Four stars
This book approaches Vedic Astrology holistically (which is should, as this is very much practicing what is preached). Nothing really works out of context, and truth is worthless without meaning. Applause on this point. I was seeking immersion in these concepts, and I received as much as a beginning explorer might require.

So much information here!
So much information here! I loved how the book was laid out, the mix of instructional, mythological history and the effects of the patterns of the stars. I was not familiar with Vedic astrology, but was introduced to it from the Netflix show Indian Matchmaker. It is a fascinating concept and culture to explore.
