So much information here! I loved how the book was laid out, the mix of instructional, mythological history and the effects of the patterns of the stars. I was not familiar with Vedic astrology, but was introduced to it from the Netflix show Indian Matchmaker. It is a fascinating concept and culture to explore.

This was a good beginner's book about the Vedas. The book starts with a summary comparing Eastern and Western astrology then goes on to describe the Vedas and Vedic Astrology with a focus on Square and the Moon as opposed to Western Astrology characts that mainly focuses on the Sun and Circle. I also found the section on historical figuresin the Vedas was fascinating.

I love to open myself up to various religions, beliefs, and more. Now I'll admit I knew next to nothing of Hindu, but that's how we learn is to explore by following those who love to teach the subjects. It's extraordinary to learn of such ancient beliefs and teachings. I will also admit some chapters left me a bit confused simply because I hadn't been exposed to this subject before. I'm certainly interested in continuing to learn more on this path.

This is a good book to read for beginners who would like to learn and gain what I could consider basic but already very substantive knowledge on Vedic astrology.

I am a believer in Western Astrology and interested in finding out about the differences in the various forms of Astrology. I found this book very interesting and informative. Chock full of history on Vedic astrology. I was hoping to be able to establish a birth chart in Vedic, albeit getting a free one online which did not give me the complete parameters I was looking for.
