When I want to get away from shitty reality or listen to something light, I often turn to Emma Prince. Her books have the great ingredients of "historical romances" (aka bodice rippers): brooding strong Scottish highlanders, witty and equally strong heroines, adventures and hot sexy scenes. On top of all that, the books are narrated by Tim Campbell. Perfect!

Very sweet story but a bit too short. But I wanted to buy it as I really like Burke in this trilogy of the brothers. it was even more enjoyable with Tim Campbell narrating.

This was a lovely story but way too short, especially when I had to use a credit. It wouldn't have been a bad thing to offer this book as an included book.

Excellent novella.
Good narration by Tim Campbell as always and great mix of real & fictional characters and historical events.
Always tricky with novellas because they seem quite expensive.
