Excellent Excellent one of his best. The kind you are sad to reach the end because you don’t want it to finish

Good production of one of my favourite Dick Francis stories. I read the other reviews and was grateful to the reviewer who said that Bolinda had cleaned up the audio quality and I found it nice and clear without annoying hissing. Generally I liked Tony Britton's reading of the story, I didn't think much of his Welsh accent but otherwise it was all fine. The story is an intricate story of... I'm not sure it is revenge exactly... but an attempt to get justice without recourse to law.

I really got involved in this story with my blood boiling at the injustice of the main character's plight. The baddies are very bad! I was impressed by the narrator who kept the characters well differentiated. The woman's voice was not an issue for me, and the sound quality was good in my opinion. This is the audio equivalent of a page-turner. A good, traditional old-fashioned novel. Also gives an insight into the world of horse racing of course. Highly recommended.

Excellent on all fronts
