CF White created a grupping series and this second book surely has a fair bit of attraction, drama in the quest what happened exactly to Jackson his frienfs. The plot thickens and some things become clearer. The book ends on a clifffhanger and in my opinion can not be read/ listentened to as a stand alone. I am looking forward to list3n to the last on3.

Piers Ryman as usual hits all the right spots.

Hide To Seek is a great addition to the romantic-thriller London Lies series and I can’t wait for the next instalment! Disgraced media star, Jackson Young, seeks to escape danger and the press by fleeing to Ireland with journalist, Fletcher Doherty, but the same forces that silenced those around Jackson are closing in. Can Fletcher keep him safe? I love the blend of tender moments and looming menace in this fantastic series. There are tantalising scenes as Jackson and Fletcher grapple with their mistrust versus their growing feelings for each other. There’s rich character development as we learn more of Fletcher’s upbringing and more of Jackson’s entanglements, and there’s a lovely contrast between the faithful Fletcher and a damaged Jackson. There’s also a delicious disquiet throughout waiting for the shadowy figures in Jackson’s past to catch up with him. 🎧 Piers Ryman gives another stellar performance, voicing English, Italian, and multiple Irish accents with ease. I especially loved the taciturn voice of Fletcher’s father!

This series is marvellous I cannot get enough. A wonderful story written extremely well with perfect narration by Piers Ryman.

This series just gets better, after the set up in book one we start to find out more about the murky celebrity world Jackson got himself trapped in. I devoured this in one sitting as I just couldn’t stop, I had to find out more! We see Fletcher in his home setting and this gives a great insight into the man he has become.
There’s so much going on but it doesn’t detract from the romance forming between Jackson and Fletcher, it’s absolutely there in the forefront. The pull these two have for each other is intense and Piers absolutely nails that in his narration. I could listen to him ready pretty much anything, he’s exceptional again in this book there are so many characters and accents and he hits the mark every time.
