Marty didn’t mean to kill the delivery girl.
He didn’t know the cookies his mom dropped off were loaded with sunflower oil, and he sure as hell didn’t know the pretty young blonde who showed up at his door was deathly allergic to it.
Wait — Her heart is still beating—weak, but beating. He needs to get her help fast. The problem is, he can’t exactly call 911. Not when he’s still on probation from a string of stupid mistakes he made when he was younger. One dead (or almost-dead) girl in his kitchen isn’t going to look good on his record.
So Marty comes up with a plan: get her the help she needs without involving the police… and maybe finish her deliveries while he’s at it. After all, how hard could it be to play delivery driver for a few hours?
Besides… he looks surprisingly cute in her tight little uniform.
