A well written and very well read book. There is angst across the book, but the main character slowly gets more confident. Her friends are very funny and the dialogues are snarky and fast passed

A good Fantaromance

This is my first book by Ashley Meira. The plot was somewhat interesting and the characters had a bit of depth. Some (but definitely not all) of the banter between the characters was amusing even if they acted a good 5 years younger than their stated ages. Be warned though, this is definitely just setting the stage for the rest of the series. There's not even a hint of resolution at the end of the book. All in all, it wasn't brilliant but it passed the time while I was doing housework/running errands. I'll listen to the next book in the series because it is included in the plus catalogue. I probably wouldn't spend a credit on it.

Although Sophia has a secret she doesn’t want to use it for evil . Although she doesn’t want to fall in love with Adam she clearly does . Good characters, great evolving story . Looking forward to seeing who snow is ?

I think this was likely a fun book with a lot of good banter and humour. But the narrator reading out every single sentence in exactly the same way mate it impossible to tell. It honestly sounds like it was a robot reading this rather than a human being.
