Summary

Six months ago, I lost my husband. Six hours ago, I found out he had another family. Six minutes ago, my life changed forever.

For my forty-fifth birthday, I planned to treat myself to a spa day with my bestie. But instead, my late husband's insurance broker drops by to let me know that not only am I still widowed but my husband's insurance policies are being paid to his other wife-and his other family.

The next thing I know, I'm being romanced by an Indiana Jones wannabe who arrives like a dervish to sweep me off my feet. I arrive home to find Logan Gentry, a tall, dark drink of water who seems to think I am some ancient magical being sent here to solve his problems.

One thing is for sure . . . this guy knows more about what's happened to me than I do. If I help him, maybe I'll find some answers along the way. Assuming the curse on my possessed tattoo doesn't kill me first.

The story has potential but unfortunately, the presenter made the listen difficult. The main characters voice seemed fake and forced, it changed throughout, often sounding robotic like AI. The voices for the other characters were terrible, this alone made it difficult to connect with any of the characters. A shame as the story has potential.

Enjoyed this book and storyline is brilliant. There are lots of twists and turns that kept me interested and craving the next twist. Though a story there was a real part that calls to my imagination and realisation. Thank I shall now get the next book in the series.

This was great fun. Our fmc goes throught some very traumatic life events and is suffering with hot flashes throughout her entire ordeal. There is a ton of magic, mythical creatures and some hot guys too. Unfortunately, the entire book is totally clean 😭😭😭
I like that our fmc is more mature, and the way she deals with it all. plenty of funny moments too. I'll definitely finish the series.

I thought this book had some good ideas but could have been written with more flow
I don’t think the narration helped with poor pronunciation and drama.
It wavered between flippant
And heartfelt. A bit of a patchwork.
