About this listen

With friends like these, who needs enemies? A twisting psychological thriller about what lies behind a marriage's facade—and the deadly results . . .

Hazel and Jamie are happily married. Or so it would seem. Behind closed doors, things are far from normal. Jamie has an unhealthy obsession, and Hazel is more worried about herself than her husband.

So when Millicent injects herself into their lives, with Jamie firmly in her sights, the trio end up on a path that will end in death.

Everyone has secrets. Everyone has a dark side.

But who is good, who is bad, and who is going to get away with murder?

Ohhh, I really enjoyed this. It has a female serial killer, a cult, a sham marriage, and the book is so captivating! I really enjoyed NJ Moss' style of writing

This was a slow burner but once I had grasped the story it became a compulsive listen. Very well narrated and gripping

What a fascinating weird story!

An interesting listen for sure.
A dark and very twisted storyline either some graphic descriptions.

I certainly wouldn’t put anyone off reading this but feel that the best part of the book is captured in the final few chapters.

Dark & Twisty! 3.5

👏🏼 (hands up, clapping) at how this book was written!! Finally, a story told that read as real! I loved The craziness of the serial killer, the back story, how it all came together. Everything 👏🏼🙌🏼 I’ve not heard anything this author before but I’m most certainly adding to favourites and hope other books are as brilliantly done as this one 👏🏼

Wow to the ending!

This was amazing, it was so addictive and I just had to keep listening There were so many twists and turns and I really needed to know what Millie was after. The ending was just perfect, apart from one niggle which to me wasnt explained, but it was really minor in the scheme of things.

What an amazing author and mind to create this plot. It was so well written.
The narration worked really well .

Delightfully twisted
