Summary

Good thing this Hellcat has nine lives because he's going to need them if he's going to survive Lucifer's latest scheme and land on his four furry feet. Okay, so Felipe ate a few of the Styx sea creatures. In his defense, they were awfully tasty. Depleting the monster reservoir didn't mean Lucifer had to go all lord of hell on him and order him to go on a stupid mission. And to Siren Isle, of all places! Everyone knows males should stay far, far away from that dangerous place. The only stroke of luck is that the woman he's after isn't a siren. Nor is she quite a mermaid. As a matter of fact, Jenny isn't like anyone he's ever met - so, of course, this curious cat wants her. Except he's not the only one. Not long after his arrival, he runs into problems, which he's only too happy to solve in a permanent and violent fashion. Getting Jenny off the island and back to hell's inner circle is proving more troublesome than expected, though. Who knew a simple retrieval mission would signal the start of a dangerous - yet exhilarating - adventure? And despite his tomcat ways, this purring feline can't help but fall in love.

Hello Kitty!

Eve Laglasis is my go to author for when I'm in the mood for something different, funny, not too serious or mentally draining. I've really enjoyed her "Welcome to Hell" series as well as her "Alien Abduction" series. The stories are fun, snarky and the narrators are AWESOME!

Lucifer is up to his same old tricks, playing match maker to unsuspecting characters to further his own goals. His character is always hilarious; however, I didn't think this story was as funny as the previous ones. It may be me, or the fact I've never been big on shifter cats, but I felt this story was missing something. Still, it was a decent, with unique characters, and a fast paced plot. Eve has got an imagination! I'm definitely going to continue the series.

Mindy Kennedy always does a fabulous job on the narration. I love how she delivers all the snarky, sarcastic dialogue.

Meow

Where does Hell's Kitty rank among all the audiobooks you’ve listened to so far?

I really enjoyed Hells Kitty. I haven't listened to a book narrated by a woman before this and really enjoyed the fun way the narrator got into the tale.

Who was your favorite character and why?

Lucifer is always my favourite character within this series. He is so much fun and has a hand in everything.

Any additional comments?

I really enjoyed listening to this book. The narrator does a fabulous job, she puts on the male voices so well. She has a lot of fun with the book and I often found myself giggling or with a secret smile on my face from the fun listening to the story. I will admit listening to the bedroom scenes, with my headphones in, in public did cause the occasional blush and sneaky look around to make sure no one was paying me any attention. That in itself was enough to make me giggle, but laughing in the middle of the grocery store with my headphones in did earn my some side eyed looks. Overall a very fun story to listen to that will have you wishing it wouldn't end and wanting so much more.

Another Purrfect Romance

Things are heating up in hell as Felipe and Jenny are paired together in another of Lucifer’s matchmaking games. Who knew Lucifer could be so devious?

A perfect couple. These two are so sweet together and the romance hot. Yet another great addition to the series.

My least favorite book of the series.

Although this story introduces us to the main characters of the next book, it really doesn't add anything to the overall series. The main characters of this book are Jenny and Felipe, of which Felipe is a carryover from Book 1. There isn't a lot of interaction between Felipe and the characters from Book 1 so it can be read by itself without the story being lost. I didn't get involved in the personal relationship between the main characters as they were not very likeable as a couple and Jenny's personal struggles were not very interesting. Lucifer's daughter appears and some of the story line is lost not having read the Hell's Daughter Series but it is short lived. Overall it would be okay and recommended to save time and skip this book.

ugh but I did finish it

While this is an ok book. I could not get over the mixing of Greek mythos and Christian beliefs in such a manner. I mean really swap hades for Lucifer and basically call it good with some Roman myths? This is the first book in the series I lessened to.

This is the most fun filled series

A shape shifter, a half breed mermaid, and Lucifer. Hang on tight and be ready for your side's to hurt from laughter. Eve Langlais continues this hot, hilarious series. Mindy Kennedy is spectacular in narrating this story.

Tom Cat to monogamy for Felipe? Never...maybe

This was quite an adventurous story, super entertaining. Mindy Kennedy was a fantastic narrator. Felipe and Jenny were great characters and it was an entertaining round of events that made up this story. Definitely some super steaminess with lots of adventures.
