About this listen

Hearts Divine is the second part of USA Today best-selling author Catherine Wiltcher's dark and thrilling Santiago Trilogy.

"An intense, dark and twisted story that will send you on a wild and crazy ride of emotions." (Beyond the Covers Blog)

Eve: The FBI is forcing me apart from the man who haunts my dreams. Dante Santiago. My deepest, darkest secret. The man I will never ever betray.

Dante: Together we wiped my past from the face of this earth, but another rose up in his place. An enemy more deadly, more determined. One who will stop at nothing to destroy me.

I run the risk of exposing my angel if I return. I will lose myself to this darkness if I refuse....

Hearts Divine is book two of Dante and Eve's story. It is not a standalone and ends in quite a cliffhanger. So far this trilogy is intense and kept me on the edge of my seat from beginning to end. It is full of danger, suspense and hot & steamy sex. I can't wait to listen to the final book in this trilogy to see how their story ends. Sarah Puckett and JF Harding did a wonderful job bringing this story to life.

I received this audiobook at my request via promo code from The Flock and this is my honest voluntary review.

I have so much love for part two of this Trilogy.

Dante and Eve have been reunited after the death of his brother Emilio and the fall of the Santiago Cartel, separated as Dante goes on a one man mission to get justice for his daughter Isabella. The origin story to Dante's pain shows you the true level of darkness the man had been capable of and the family that shaped him. Eve Miller is the light to chase back that monster inside him but his investigation leads to truths neither were prepared for. The investigative reporter has battled with her inner demons over having crossing the line into Dantes shadows.Eve is so brave its hard not to love the bones of the woman. The connection between these characters is enthralling. Very eager to see the final installment of this story.

Narration is fantastic.

WOW! Addictive!

Catherine Wiltcher continues to have me on the edge as book 2 of the Santiago Trilogy continues. Eve is left home, having to be harassed by the FBI as they try to pull out information about Dante from her. There is not way she would ever give them anything, but that does not stop the interrogation. Constantly followed, she is off to accept an award where she is kidnapped. Who would do such a thing? Yes, a smile came to my face when Dante once again has taken her. He is risking his own plans as his obsession with Eve has taken him over. But how will she feel about this? Will she be happy to be back with him? Will he be able to rebuild his empire and find the revenge is is seeking? And how will Eve fit into it all? There are so many complexities and layers in this story, and we are taken on a roller coaster of suspense, emotions and surprises we don't see coming! I am enthralled with this trilogy, and the cliffhanger just left me on the edge! I can't wait for the conclusion of their story and see exactly what is revealed in the end.

JF Harding and Sarah Puckett continue their amazing narration of this series. Harding is a favorite of mine and he plays the antihero so well. Dante is a complex character and each layer of this man is emulated perfectly. He's not overly emotional, but you can hear it in Harding's voice exactly how he feels. Puckett always gives me the perfect amount of angst without going overboard. I love their performance.

Amazing romantic suspense!

Hearts Divine by Catherine Wiltcher is a dark mafia romance that I listened to on audio narrated by Sarah Puckett and JF Harding. This is the second book in The Santiago Trilogy.

This is the third book of Catherine's that I have read and it definitely won't be my last. I was pulled in from the first chapter and couldn't wait to see what was going to happen next. The chemistry between Eve and Dante was off the charts. Their relationship is messy but you can't help but root for them. I really enjoyed getting Dante, Eve, and Joseph's points of view throughout the book. It really brought the story to life.

The book ends on a cliffhanger but that wasn't a surprise since it is part of a trilogy. I can't wait for the next book in the series Hearts On Fire to be released on audio so I can get more of their story.

Sarah and JF did an amazing job on the narration. They both really know how to bring a story to life. I look forward to listening to more of their work in the future.

I would recommend this book if you like dark romances, mafia romances, or romantic suspense.

Dark Mafia Romance

Eve and Dante's relationship is alluring. It isn't always easy, it definitely isn't normal, but it is enticing and addicting all the same.

Dante Santiago is no longer anonymous, he's on the most wanted list and his face is splashed across media outlets everywhere.

Eve is devastated at the loss of him, the divide seems endless and the time is torture. How long before he returns for her? Will he ever return for her? Is he lost for good?

These two are electric, slightly toxic, and completely addicting. I love their fierceness. The turmoil that these two have to face seems insurmountable. Can they prevail? Is love enough?

I love seeing the "softer" (I use that word very lightly) side to Dante, the way he is with Eve, even when his intentions are good but the way he addresses them isn't the best. You can feel the turmoil, love, hatred, and everything in between with these two.

JF Harding and Sarah Puckett really brought these characters to life and kept my interest in the story.

Thrilling and unexpected to the end
