About this listen
A Revolutionary War captain. A modern-day doctor. A love that defies the centuries.
When Captain Ben Turner, a loyal soldier in General Washington’s army, is catapulted from the chaos of the Revolutionary War into the year 2025, he finds himself thrust into a world of baffling technology, dizzying speed, and one extraordinary woman. Dr. Abigail Thorne, a confident and compassionate ER doctor, is determined to help Ben navigate this strange new reality—even as their undeniable connection challenges everything she believes about time, love, and fate.
As Ben and Abigail’s bond deepens, so does the weight of the impossible choice before them. Can their love survive the barriers of time? Or will Ben’s duty to the past force him to leave the one woman who has captured his heart forever?
If you love heartwarming time-travel romance with endearing characters, emotional twists, and a touch of humor, Hearts Across Time will sweep you off your feet. Start listening today and discover a love story that transcends time.

Really enjoyed this

The story itself is great and has me gripped, wanting to know what happens next.... Im a big fan of time travel books and so far thus one has not disappointed.
The narration however is confusing. Both the Ben and the Abigail characters sound the same. The male narrator makes no effort to differentiate between the two. Sometimes it can be confusing who is thinking what.
My biggest bug bear thought is the author's repetition of the word 'features' and 'pinched features'..as in describing facial features for some ridiculous reason.
Literally every chapter contains these words at least 3 or 4 times. It has now become an annoying earworm and is detracting from what actually is an intriguing story. Surely there are other synonyms that can be used?
Will add to this review once fully completed the audible.
