Summary

loved the dual narration of Alexander Cendese and Gina A. Jones
This plot has steam, chemistry and a love story . Emmett, and Stacie have a drunken night together and he finds himself taking on the responsibility of raising baby. Stacie stuffers from mental problems and takes off . Olivia gives up everything for a mother she never truly understood. Her journey of self-discovery as she cares for her mother and learns more about her past.

A compelling Rocker romance
I absolutely love a rockstar romance they are my kryptonite along with Hockey romance...this rocker romance is different to anything that I have listened to before...Not in a bad way but in a shockingly good way.
The audiobook of this story is really special narrated by Alexander Cendese and Gina A Jones it flows really well and you even get a song or two by Mr.Cendese..It was so brilliant I loved that it gave a very authentic feel to the audio and to the story.
I enjoyed listening to both Alexander and Gina's performances as the portrayed the characters in this book,I loved listening to it.
The book starts from the beginning and the hopeful Emmett who wants to pursue a music career,he leaves school in order to do so,putting everything he has into the band and its success.
But he makes a mistake by allegedly having a one night stand with his band mates 17 year old sister Stacie.
I have to say Stacie is a horrible girl so selfish and manipulative she has set her sights on Emmett and won't let go even though Emmett makes it clear he is not interested.
He remembers nothing about that night but weeks later Stacie announces she is pregnant with Emmetts baby.
Life is about to change even more when the band needs a female singer for a track for their demo and Olivia answers the advertisement that the band put out there.
Olivia is perfect for the songs and the band want her,the only problem is that she has met Emmett before and Stacie has recruited Olivia has a friend and continuously tells Olivia that Emmett is hers.Olivia and Emmett are attracted to one another but Stacie and the baby are a deterrent and Olivias opinion of Emmett has been tainted by Stacie.
But as Stacie keeps weaving her lies Olivia starts to get to know Emmett and it is not the same Emmett that Stacie says he is.
Honestly there is ALOT of drama going on in this book,wires get seriously crossed and there are more complications with this unusual love triangle that isn't even a love triangle...You will understand what I mean when you read or listen to this book.
I really enjoyed Andrea Smith and Gina A Jones's take on a rockstar romance,they created characters that feel real and honest...Who have everyday problems and deal with every day issues.
I loved the change in Emmett when his baby was born and the support Olivia gave him..Emmett was still determined to make it big and to win Olivia over.He shows himself as a very devoted father and lover.
This is a great story and it kept me entertained through-out,I was left stunned at times and these two authors kept me guessing what would happen next.

Wow
Good thing this one’s name gives away what it will be doing to you the whole time you are listening to it, yes that’s right tugging at your heart strings. It has a wonderful amount of feelings and emotions and the narration took it to a whole new level. This is one of those books that you know you will come back to time and time again when you want to feel something.
I’m not usually a rockstar genre reader but this one has certainly had me changing my thoughts on that genre, it was realistic and wonderful and left me wishing I could stay in their world a little longer.
