There just isn't enough time for everything on our to-do list - and there never will be. Successful people don't try to do everything. They learn to focus on the most important tasks and make sure those get done. They eat their frogs. There's an old saying that if the first thing you do each morning is eat a live frog, you'll have the satisfaction of knowing you're done with the worst thing you'll have to do all day. For Tracy, eating a frog is a metaphor for tackling your most challenging task - but also the one that can have the greatest positive impact on your life.

"While the history books are filled with tales of obsessive visionary geniuses who remade the world in their images with sheer, almost irrational force, I've found that history is also made by individuals who fought their egos at every turn, who eschewed the spotlight, and who put their higher goals above their desire for recognition." (From the prologue)

I have to say I struggled to listen to this. Sarah Knight obviously comes from a very privileged background and gears her rhetoric to certain socio-economic classes. While at times she attempts humour, it falls a little flat as it sounds like she's trying too hard.
That being said, some of the advice is useful such as time management and prioritizing - however this sounds like a lot of other self help books and she doesn't seem like the 'anti-guru' she claims to be. It's a little pretentious, constantly talking about her Caribbean housing, when many don't even have disposable income.
She briefly mentions half way through that this book is not intended for such working-class people. That should have been at the front of the book.

Should be called "time management for dummies" I got to chapter 6 and couldn't stand to listen to anymore of this. When people have nothing to say they swear - and there's lots of swearing for impact in this book.
Terrible anecdotes and such basic advice for complete dummies.
Stay away if your a grown up.

time wasted listen to this

Did not like silly analogies and yes she says she swears but for no decent reason, great for her living in the Caribbean, making money for old rope off people that deserve more than this is clearly her goal. Way more out there that is inspiring than this low drivel.

Apart of Sarah Knight's voice and 3 pages worth of some reasonable advise on how to get all aspects of your life together, the whole book is battered on countless swearing, ridiculous analogies, and Alvin and the chipmunks comparisons, to the point of making it the most unbearable book to listen to out of the hundreds I have on Audible... if you want to get the value of her thoughts watch the Ted talk, but suffering finishing this book is not worthwhile.

Straight talking, no BS book. Loved it. If you're offended by swearing, don't bother. But if you're up for some a$$ kicking mixed with references from 80's cartoons, this book is for you.
