No hate, just love
We've seen snippets of Dean in previous books, so I was both intrigued and apprehensive to get to know him. So far, he's been the cocky, lovable rogue who you either love or hate. But we never got to see what he was really like, only little hints... which often made you roll your eyes! But you just knew he meant well as there was more to find out about him and why he did what he did.
Well. The wait is finally over! Dean exceeded all my expectations and finally meets his match (again!) in Chloe....
The two have history. And it's not all good. Fast forward to the present and both are hanging on to that history in different ways. Can they move forward? Do they bring out the best or worst in each other? Will the past be a wall they can't break through? Finding out was both heartbreaking and hilarious.
Getting to know Chloe and Dean was refreshing and entertaining. There's a reason the book is called Hating You, Loving You. The journey they go on both together and separately will make you laugh, cry and want to scream at them both!
It's wonderful getting to know these characters, especially Dean. He is who he is and frankly I love him for it!
As always, the narrators bring Crystal's words to life, giving the characters depth and warmth. I adore them, they are perfect at bringing the story to life and helping you get lost in their world's.
I can't wait for the next one!
