It is so important to give yourself compassion and no one talks about this in our ever striving world. I loved the exploration between self esteem and self compassion. Very interesting link.

I often struggle with my own emotional and mood regulation via food and nutrition, so it was a fresh take to see the mental/emotional aspect of this.

This outstanding manual is enlightening and full of exercises and techniques to raise self-esteem, control emotions, overcome depression, and develop resilience. Additionally, the author did a great job, as well as narrator, did a fantastic job of keeping the audiobook easy to listen to and understand.
The workbook is also filled with useful exercises that are beneficial to everyone. Resilience development, self-care, mood modulation, and self-compassion all are very important topics which greatly explained in this workbook and can practice the strategies. I highly recommend it.

The book had tons of exercises and strategies to improve self-esteem, regulate emotions, deal with depression, and build resilience. It also introduces the concept of mindful self-compassion and provides strategies for integrating mindfulness into daily life. At first, it felt overwhelming to me to have to do all of these things, but this book presented it in a way that seemed very doable. These are exercises that can be incorporated into daily routines.
