If you are a beginner is a good start.

What made the experience of listening to Hacking University: Freshman Edition the most enjoyable?

Explain what to do, attempt to explain how it is working but mostly descriptive not why. Good start as "script Kiddie"

Not completely accurate

The reader doesn't pronounce words or acronyms in the standard IT way, which is Really frustrating. The writer also has some false facts. I stopped listening chapter 6.

Been in IT for 10 years... Not helpful.

Simple hacks

Would you listen to Hacking University: Freshman Edition again? Why?

This book is totally awesome in a special kind of way because it teaches you how to hack with ease. There are great tips in here and great concepts in which only here you will learn them.

What was one of the most memorable moments of Hacking University: Freshman Edition?

What I like most here is history of hacking with its beginning from Roman Empire. We have a heap of examples that teach us how hackers can work (and how to protect ourselves against hackers).

What does Mark Jonathan Charles bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?

The author provides the necessary basic knowledge, explains the secrets and strategies of hacking security systems, gives a fairly good practical examples.

Each topic is very well explained for you to understand it. Been in the IT field for sometime, I am always looking for a better understanding of how it all works. After starting to read this book, I decided to get some training toward cert. I found this book way more helpful and on point than the training class that I took.

I never had a book like this and I am enjoying the guide and tips all throughout the experience.

What was one of the most memorable moments of Hacking University: Freshman Edition?

As a "freshman" a newbie on hacking it is all memorable for me and worth it. Even a single important guide I surely take down note of it. Just like a student listening to a teacher when discussing his lessons.

Have you listened to any of Mark Jonathan Charles’s other performances before? How does this one compare?

A great narrator and a quite interesting voice to lesson.

Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?

I can say that technology evolves in this fast paced world. Incredible and very amazing learning such great ways.

My brother will love to listen to this book. It is not new to him but I know he will still love it. I am showing this book for him to listen to.
