Summary

I'll screw any woman I want, even the enemy.

As a sniper in the military, I shot on sight. But now, the only thing I have eyes for is Brooklyn, the new bartender at PJ's. Her curvy hips, those pouty lips; I want to touch every inch of her skin. I'll bend her over my bike and show her how a Bad Disciple really rides.

But Brooklyn is hiding something - a secret that could rip us and the club apart.

I killed her brother overseas. And now it haunts me in our streets.

I’ll convince Brooklyn to stay with me. I never miss a target, and this time the bullseye is her heart.

Gunner (The Bad Disciples MC) is a full-length stand-alone bad-boy motorcycle romance.

Annoying Characters

I started reading this book with high hopes because of the premise, but stopped before reaching the end. Brooklyn seems to always be "screaming" or shrieking and behaving stupidly like a little child, and Gunner acts out of character and stupidly abandoning her to sex traffickers. Terrible, irritating and dumb MC romance story. For a really good story, I suggest reading Preacher by Dahlia West or Reapers Property by Joanna Wylde or Under Locke by Mariana Zapata

Unrealistic

How many woman bar tenders would be closing solo. Plus not freak out if a stranger locks them in alone at closing. Oh, then just starts having sex on the bar within 15 minutes after meeting...written more like a bad porn.

Great first book!

I can’t remember how I stumbled across this author but I am glad I did! I loved that she provided enough drama and energy to keep it interesting without making the main characters have no spine, doing stupid stuff just to fill the story.

She also did a great job on selecting the narrators. Since I am almost exclusively audio and have been since 2009, I am a narrator snob and won’t hesitate to return a book or give a negative narration review when I hear single narrators that can’t actually sound both male and female, or are constantly forgetting which voice they should be speaking in and it makes it past the producer. Luckily the author went with dual narrators and both had voices that are easy to listen to and not too breathy. (See, told you I was a narration snob.). Snob or not, this audio book gets a high score from me because Savannah Rylan hit all my requirements with this one. Now I’m off to start on the next book in the series while silently praying she kept up the great work!

Horrible Narration

The narration was so emotionless, it didn't give the characters any personality. it could have been a great book but the way the characters spoke was unrealistic for a biker. Was hard to finish.

Could've been better...

I have to agree with other review in that this heroine was one of the worst -- not what you'd expect from Savannah Rylan. Loved the story, hero was well done but the whiny, spitfire at the wrong time, make a fool of yourself kind of immature woman that no man much less a tough biker dude would have any respect for let alone fall for -- well, you get my point. That seems to be the popular way to write the heroines in MC stories---(except in this one, "snarky" was left out) but it sure doesn't paint a pretty picture for women. Anyway, I'm still looking for a heroine in an MC series that I can respect. This could have been much better since the story itself was great, just fell short on the heroine.

Narrators were great--at least you have that going on in this series. Makes up for the occasional bad sentence structure and slightly immature dialog. Just IMHO.

A suspenseful, thrilling, and entertaining story. I enjoyed every single moment.
Narration was great. Love Joe Arden’s deep sensual voice. 😊

Mixed Feelings...

I am actually a fan of Savannah Rylan, however this book was a little slow moving for my taste. I also don't think the character development was as good as other Savannah Rylan books. Gunner & Brooklyn's story was unique just slow paced.
