Summary
All's Fair in Love and (Pastry) War
Sylvie Campos and Lauren Machado have hated each other since before they were born. For generations, the Campos and Machado families have blamed each other for stealing pastry recipes they claim their great-grandfathers originated before fleeing Castro's Cuba.
Having spent their lives as rivals, Lauren and Sylvie are now in their early thirties and primed to take over their respective family bakeries. Great characters, funny and romantic. Loved it. Narration was also excellent. New author to me, looking forward to other audiobooks by her 😊

A must for fans
Carrie Coello really brings this story and the characters to life I hope that more of J.J.A' books are brought to audio.

Enjoyed this
Great story and characters along with some firey latin empraments made this a really good, and often funny, listen. A lovely taste of Cuban expat culture, something completely new to me, made it an especially interesting story. I definitely want to find more books from this author who is new to me.
Unfortunately I did not think the narrator was great because she did not make much attempt to differentiate between Sylvie and Lauren's voices and this made it confusing to know which one was speaking at times.
