Dex the quiet and unassuming bass guitarist of Forgotten Legacy gets his time in the limelight with this latest instalment of the best rock star romance series EVER!! In my opinion. :)
The dark horse ,the chilled out stoner that hasn’t a care in the world or so it would seem.
Dex is hiding his pain behind anything rather than facing it. Painful memories haunt him and he will do anything to escape them. Even play with a beautiful redhead he meets by chance until it’s no longer a game.
This book is super hot and is full of all the steam we have come to expect from these characters.
I am so invested in the Forgotten Legacy series it is just out of this world epic. Hold on to your knickers girls this was a wild and wicked ride with added Dex appeal .
Read them all and thank me later!!
Thomas Locklear is the perfect narrator for this series he just keeps getting better with every instalment. I came for the stories I’m staying for the voice.
I can’t wait for the next book.

I thought Shattered Expectation would be my favourite of the FL audiobooks but I've had to revise this.

Dex and Guarded Addiction have jumped into first place.

The story is amazing and listening to it places a whole new perspective on it. I could get lost on the FL world fir a very long time.

Another great story book 3 . It’s book 3 in the series but it can listen to as a stand-alone. The author wrote a well written book, well description that you can visualize.
The hero in this one is Dex , he’s not only the bassist but a addictive that’s on the road to recovery. He’s been recovering for months and it’s working for him .

Heroine is Siobhan. Siobhan Is best friends with Harper who’s with the lead in the band . There are lots of twists and turns in this story. You see glimpses of the mains from book 1 and 2 . Grab the other two and see what goes on in the band .

The performance of Thomas Locklear was fantastic. He did the characters great. His voice is clear and strong and smooth.

I gave the story 4 stars because even though I wasn't a fan of the hero, heroine or one of the narrators - I do appreciate that the author didn't just write a cookie cutter story. It had a lot of twists and turns that fed into the history of the band and the previous dynamics.
For what I didn't like - I didn't like the spoiled, drug addict hero who got away with everything and the heroine that enabled him. There were points in the story that he literally kidnapped her and she forgave him. He put his hands on her and not in a good way and she forgave him. I just can't with women and men like that.

I am loving this series. Each book has been about a different member of the band, Forgotten Legacy. I love the characters and their stories. It takes you back in time to tell you different parts of their lives. Dex is a drug addict and this book talks about his struggles with that. Narrator Thomas Locklear is amazing. The way he changes his voice for each character effortlessly is phenomenal. He can do great female characters as well. He creates a vision for every book he reads. I definitely recommend this book/series. Book 1- Tattooed Memories. Book 2- Shattered Expectations. I think these can be read as standalone but more enjoyable in order. 🎧 Audiobook Obsession
