Couldn’t be better!

Such a great series and Jonathan Keeble is the best reader to bring characters to life. Impeccable.
I just hope the series continues.

as enjoyable as the first two in this short series

Any additional comments?

as with the other two books there is more than one storyline involved and at the end of the book all the outcome are explained.
have really enjoyed these books performed by Jonathon keeble and written by Bernard knight..

Great book

love interplay between characters and reminds me of my 1950s childhood era. Kinder times then.

Great 'Grounds for Appeal'

I loved Bernard Knight's Crowner John series and thought I wouldn't like the Richard Pryor Mysteries, but they are refreshing and enjoyable.

He applies the same attention the period detail of the 1950s as he did to the middle ages, which is both entertaining and educational! I look forward to more.

Another wonderful read by Jonathan Keeble

Jonathan Keeble has once again brought life to the 1950s with the reading of this great book. Get it now but maybe it would be a good idea to hear the books in order.

very boring...

I found the storyline to be drawn out and boring
could be finished in 3 chapters
narrator is brilliant as always
Jonathan Keeble is my favorite narrator
and quality of recording was really bad which spoilt it as well ..

OK

Would you try another book written by Bernard Knight or narrated by Jonathan Keeble?

Not if its narrated by Jonathan Keeble

Has Grounds for Appeal put you off other books in this genre?

No, I love this kind of book

Would you be willing to try another one of Jonathan Keeble’s performances?

No, because I very quickly got sick of listening to the generic "South Wales Boyo" accent that everyone seems to think is spoken in all parts of Wales! it really grated on my nerves after a few chapters so I stopped listening & haven't bothered since, shame because it might have been a good story

Disjointed and dated

Narrator did their best with limited material. Too many storylines left unresolved. Writing also dated.
