Christmas in Winterspell means ice skating, hot cocoa by the barrel, and frosted gingerbread houses. I was almost looking forward to it.

The merriment screeches to a halt when two elves show up, claiming to have been sent by Santa himself, on a mission to track down an ancient grimoire.

A grimoire with the power of Christmas itself woven through the pages. Without it, Christmas isn't happening, and Santa himself is in grave danger.

Could Winterspell hold the key to saving Christmas?

Worked really well as a standalone short Christmas story with a cosy little crime thrown in.

Good things in short packages

This was an excellent story. Great to listen to and enjoyable use of characters. I liked the world building. Excellent narration, as always.

A fun Festive mystery

Extremely short and free on plus catalogue audible. This Christmas story involves a witch who helps find out who stole from Santa and recover the item. Lighthearted and sweet and short. Easy, holidays read but nothing in it is gripping enough.

Witchy & Christmassy mystery

Easy listen , great characters , my only complaint is that it is just too short . Would recommend

Too short

After loving the first book for free and it being 6 hours I was shocked to realised after only an hour of listening that the book had ended and I paid £6 for it! very dissapointed as I loved the first and am happy to pay but with being in my car most of the day I need long listens. I am kicking myself for not reading the description properly and realising.

but apart from that I love the stories and the voice

too much for too little
