And when hers comes back around, breathing fire, she's forced to face some unimaginable horrors. But lucky for Morgan, there's a white knight in combat boots out there that isn't afraid of monsters.
You see, it's impossible to be afraid of something you face every day in the mirror.

I wasn't sure what I would find and it started off being quite a bit too dark for me and I wasn't sure whether I could handle it.
What made me continue was Lorenzo's sense of humor (although he is known as this terrifying psycho) and the fact that he does have an albeit weird moral compass.
Of all the people in New York, Morgan decides to pick Lorenzo's pocket and he is just gobsmacked; and so commences their interesting relationship.
Morgan has had a terrifying existence with the Russian mafia and she is basically on the run from a man obsessed with her and Lorenzo turns out to be, in his own strange way, her knight in shining armour even though he runs the New York underworld .
The narration is superb and if you can get through the disturbing way that she is treated, how she manages to survive by hook line and sinker, this is an incredible duet and I highly recommend it.
It is definitely not for the faint hearted or for anyone with ANY triggers as there are many, but what an ending!
I only wish I knew what happened to Morgan's childhood and how she ended up where she did, i.e. what happened to her parents.
