Summary
Greyson Fox, the man, the myth, the legend. The highly sought after, self-proclaimed permanent bachelor. Or so the rumor mill goes. Sure, I’ve heard it all - but the one that stung the most was being called a heartless bastard. Love ‘em and leave ‘em, that one in particular I found to be the most humorous since only one man had ever shared my bed more than once, and he’d long since passed away.
I wasn’t the heartless bastard they all proclaimed me to be, but life had a way of kicking me in the teeth...Repeatedly, so I shut my heart off.
For years I thrived, building my empire and living by my own rules. Until one day, the walls came crashing down around me.
Potential trigger warning:
This book contains brief descriptions of human sex trafficking, as well as two mentions of sexual abuse, including a brief description of oral abuse and an attempted sexual assault. There is some physical abuse by the syndicates hands and a drug overdose so if those are trigger points this may not be the book for you.

I loved it; what more can I say.
The main character Greyson Fox is everything you would want. Rich, handsome, but unobtainable in the end.
We follow Greyson's life from childhood, through his marriage and lots of heartaches. But, you can't help but fall in love with him, and there were tears as well.
There are a few triggers in this book, but f you are OK with them, it's a great read/listen.
But I loved how throughout the book, Greyson was the young one with his relationship with Daniel, and then after years, he gets a second chance with Samuel and then Greyson is the older but sometimes not, the wiser one in the relationship.
I enjoyed the narration and thought Mackenzie Brennan did a good job. I would definitely recommend this book.

Review
This was my first book with two male lead characters. I really enjoyed this book. As mentioned in some of the other reviews, it does feel a lot like two separate books. I really loved his relationship with Daniel and it was so so sad when he died.
I loved how it felt like it did a full circle. When Greyson met Daniel he was young and insecure. Then Greyson met Samuel and it was Samuel being young and Greyson old.
The narrator did good and brought out their chemistry well. There were a few times when it was a little hard to know who was talking, but just a few times.
I was given this free review copy audiobook at my request and have voluntarily left this review.

The story of Greyson
I found this a good book, but it seemed to be almost two books in one, which is nice, so you know how the story ends. For me the first was a retelling of Greyson his life till the moment Daniel passed away. It gave you insight into how he became the man he is when meeting Samuel. The second part started for me when he met Samuel and all that followed after that. It got quite intens at some points. The overall narration was fine.

Greyson's Story
Though this is a romance, its is primarily giving us Grayson Fox's story. From his first love to his final. He has had quite the life and I really enjoyed it. You really pull for him to find his HEA after all the loss he has suffered. The narration was just okay, but I do think it is worth a listen because the story is so great.

Can you love them all and leave them all ?
A great audio of finding who you really are , it might time but it sure does arrive ..
Greyson always has a rule to love and leave no another time is offered .
Sometimes there is an exception , sometimes it takes a long time but there is always one person who you find , you need him..
Samuel , he is the one , their hearts open, they connect , their wanting of each other is beautiful ...
Such an emotional book full of love and desire...

Greyson Fox, what a character!
Greyson led a very tight life, with his mother gone and him not being very social. He met Daniel, an older man with a heart of gold. But destiny wouldn’t keep them together. I felt for Greyson until he became someone else. His loss made him callous, until Sam. Their relationship went from hate to love. Misunderstandings, danger, loyal friends and a sexy romance for Greyson and Sam but what a hea they had. Lovely narration by Mr Brennan.

Fantastic Story & Listen🎧 4.5 Captivating Stars
I throughly enjoyed this fabulous book, it is well written with interesting storylines that are captivating from start to end. I loved how the story is told, without giving too much away I will just say it is like we get Greyson before and after. I adored him even in his hardest of times when he had that frozen fortress built around his heart. I was happy to see that melt away and see him grow as a person and by the end he was the man he was supposed to be. I also adored Daniel and Samuel, both brought a lot to his life, some of the other characters were great too. This story is cleverly plotted and there is never a dull moment, in addition to the great romance there is plenty of drama, angst, thrilling and suspenseful moments, as well as heartfelt and emotional moments. TL Travis, thank you for the great story and emotional rollercoaster ride.
🎧📚🎧And for the terrific narration, Mackenzie Brennan is a talented narrator and voice artist. He did a great job portraying the characters, humanizing them, giving each their own voice and personality. He sets the perfect tone for the story, captures the characters emotions and projects them into his performance. He is an entertaining storyteller and a pleasure to listen to. Thank you for the great listen🎧

An emotional journey
The life story of Greyson Fox, remembered from his POV, explaining what made him become the unapproachable man he is now. And from there, always from his personal perspective, what happens when he meets a man that manages to smash down all the walls he has erected around his heart.
The book is packed with history, for being relatively short and has a good balance between emotional charge and hotness.

I loved the first half!
There is a nice symmetry here. When Greyson Fox was young, an older Daniel took him in and fell in love with him. In the years after Daniel’s untimely death, an older, bereft Greyson moves from one unfulfilling encounter to the next, until he follows in Daniel’s footsteps and falls for a young and endangered Samuel and takes him in. I loved Greyson and Daniel’s story and Greyson’s lonely years, which take up the first half of the book. I was less thrilled with Greyson and Samuel’s story, which was more instalove, more sensational, and more described than experienced. It took a while for me to get into the audiobook, narrated by Mackenzie Brennan. I didn’t hear clearly distinctly different voices for the three main characters so sometimes I was unsure who was speaking. Audiobooks need a lot more plot markers and signposts than written books because the spoken words flash by and can’t be easily reread. The book opens with Greyson reminiscing and we and he briefly meet Samuel. Then we really reminisce, jumping back in time to when Greyson meets Daniel. It took me a while to realise Daniel was not Samuel - the names sound similar to the ear and neither are mentioned in the book’s blurb. I had to read reviews to understand what was happening. Once I did, I could settle in and enjoy the story.

some rules need to be broken
It was so sad for Grey and Daniel to end, but it left the door open for when Samuel came into Greyson's life. That relationship didn't come easily. Grey had some healing and growth of his own to go through after Daniel. Thankfully, he learned before it was too late for him and Samuel. Some intense gutwrenching times both men suffered through. I enjoyed seeing their relationship grow and strengthen and the beautiful family they built with close friends. I appreciated Sam's mother's acceptance of their relationship. That cover is amazing, and the epilogue brought happy tears to my eyes. I voluntarily listened to a free copy of this and am giving an honest review. The narrator did an excellent job bringing it to life.

Sweeping Story But Didn't Feel Connection to MC...
This one-man drama follows title MC Greyson Fox through the professional highs and personal lows of his life over more than a decade (with time jumps). On the romance front, this includes losing the love of his early life Daniel, closing off his heart over years of casual hook-ups, and reopening it again to much younger fiery club dancer (and his employee) Samuel.
This story has a sweeping saga feel to it, with heartbreak, death, love, strong friendships, a kidnapping, and some personal growth, that had gripping moments, but it never delved that deep and I never felt much connection to Grey. I was on a sort of "I feel bad/good for him" rollercoaster throughout, but wasn't especially engaged and didn't grow to care *about* him as a character. I really liked Samuel, though, and would've enjoyed getting to know him more and hearing his POV had this not been a single POV (Grey's) story.
Narrator Mackenzie Brennan's performance fell a bit flat for me, which probably factored into my not being fully engaged while listening. The character voices were distinct enough, but I wasn't feeling much emotion injected into it all. I received a free review copy of this audio book and have left this honest review voluntarily.

Silver fox alert
I have been sitting on this book for some time, then grabbed the audio version. This book starts by explaining that, yes, Greyson is a cold-hearted person. But then we get some back story and his life with Daniel. Their story was beautiful and yet full of tragedy that we knew about. But that is what created the man that we saw. But it was one man who haunted Greyson. It was two years later when he ran into Samuel again. Their story is a little different, and Greyson does everything he can to make sure that Samuel is safe. With a mix of suspense added to the last half of the book. I loved this book and the family that Greyson created around him. I will be reading more of this series ASAP.

Interesting story
I had no expectations of this book. This is a new to me author and narrator. I enjoyed both. This story was good from start to finish. No angst, just a straight forward story.
Good listen.

loved it
I loved this book. Mackenzie Brennan really brings this story to life and makes you fall in love with the characters even more. This one is a tearjerker and beautiful story. Grayson Fox is an amazing character.

Great Story
This was a really great book. Great storyline about Greyson and Sam. Gives you backstory how Greyson becomes they way he was. Kept me wanting to keep listening. Will definitely read more books by TL Travis. Mackenzie Brennan was very easy to listen to.

Pretty Delish
I enjoyed this audio. I’m not one for flashing back through a characters life but this one did draw me in most times. The narrator is a good job. Some voices could use some work but over all it was pretty good

What a rollercoaster ❤️
Where to start, I honestly just skimmed the blurb so I went in a little blind. This book has all the emotions, love lost, love found. I couldn’t stop listening. Greyson was hurt badly in his past, he wasn’t look for a relationship, never mind love. Until he meets Daniel. They have a rough start, but fate stepped in. If your looking for some angst, heat and some action I would definitely recommend Greyson fox. This is my first book by this author, won’t be my last
