I absolutely love Skiathos so it was lovely to hear the familiar places I had visited. I loved the narration! The voice tone and accent is very important and this narration was very soothing. Good easy listening story!

What a delightful Novel. Loved from First chapter. The story unfolds and whilst predictable storyline the glimpses of life on the island for the locals and holiday makers was lovely. Will there be a follow up ? Anyway I’ve discovered a new author thanks to Audibles Catalogue

Absolutely wonderful book. Couldn’t stop listening. As I have been to Skiathos and live near Ormskirk it was the perfect book and I felt I could mentally escape to Skiathos every time I listened. Thank you!

Great sunshine read. I haven’t been yet to any of the islands but I am pretty sure the pronunciation of some was off? Loved the narrator’s voice but please the production company needs to check pronunciations pre recording. FYI - not all filming was done there, some was filmed in Croatia.
Definitely want to visit Greece and it’s islands now though

I live near Liverpool and love Thesaloniki side of Greece. I know Greek culture v well and the whole book brought back many happy memories. Hearing the areas in UK too where familiar +accents good.
.. Aside from the familiar, the story was pleasant although the Scott issue could be a real trigger for some women +it was unexpected. I personally would put a 'domestic violence' warning in the bio.
It was realistic, unpleasant and a well written story line.. The Greeks spoke English a little too well. The I've component was really sweet. I don't know the Author and I think the book was free but if I'd paid I'd have been happy. I enjoyed both the story, the characters and the narration.
