I thought I bought an audible version of the book. Alas no! The audible version is far too abbreviated for my liking! I enjoy reading and listening to audible books.

A little disappointed

I was really looking forward to this book but was really disappointed. I've always had an interest in history and was probably expecting to hear something new however, it was just a basic 'schoolboy' account of the history of this country which I found totally uninspiring.
I would say that it would be fine for those who had very little knowledge of England's history as it did manage to convey the basics quickly and without too much unnecessary fine detail.
