Left for dead. Hunted by the living. Surrounded by the infected.

Warren’s story should have ended in the ruins of London. Betrayed and abandoned, survival was meant to be impossible. Yet in the shadow of a city that devours everything, Warren claws his way back into the fight—driven not just by the need to endure, but by the need for truth, and for justice.

The world is fractured beyond repair. The virus, with no cure in sight, has erased safety, mercy, and trust. Every step forces Warren to face what humanity has become—predators, scavengers, and survivors who will sacrifice anyone to stay breathing. Against the endless tide of the infected, Warren has come to realise that the living is the greater threat.

Great Bitten: Vengeance is the fourth brutal chapter of the series that redefined zombie horror for a new generation. Bleak, visceral, and relentless, it pulls you deeper into Warren’s fight where survival is no longer enough.

When the dead own the streets and the living cannot be trusted, vengeance is all that remains.

During the previous books with a different narrator, I wondered if the story would be improved by the narrator using the appropriate accents for the characters. So I was intrigued to see this book had a different narrator.
Whilst he did a good job in a lot of ways there was one major distraction. The main character now has quite a posh English accent whereas his sister inexplicably has a Scottish accent! Why? The character Rich now sounds as if he’s a bit slow. And the American soldier Andrew’s has an English accent. This choice of accents was pretty distracting and certainly baffling.
Thankfully the story was good and I enjoyed the main character development.
