Summary

An urban fantasy for magic fans

How do you find your way out of the dark if there is no light at the end of the tunnel?

A new urban fantasy series from the award-winning screenwriter of ground-breaking BBC TV series Spirit Warriors.

With a lead on the next magical seal the girls split up to search the site of Boston’s biggest music festival, not knowing that it is all part of Michael’s sinister grand plan - but what exactly is he is trying to do?

Trusting her gut instinct if not her common sense, Eve follows Paul to make not one, but two startling discoveries, only to learn that neither of them are going to help when she is finally confronted with her worst nightmare.

Excited by her date with Rhett, Marley can’t see how her new romance is affecting Christian, who has come to realize just how much he loves her.

Meanwhile, Marley has more pressing things on her mind than boys when she is given some unexpected news that turns her world upside down, making her question everything she thought she knew.

Determined to confront her issues with her parents, Cassie brings Trip home to meet them, only to find it doesn’t go to plan when Angie throws a jealous hissy fit, culminating in a devastating act that the girls may never recover from.

Saving the world has never been this Twisted.

OMG

What a fantastic cliffhanger of an end to this series of stories by Jo Ho.
I was gripped by what was going on with these 4 girls and the drama they have in their lives.
Jo Ho is a very talented author who weaves a story that you just can not stop listening to or even read..
I for one can not wait for the next series of books..

Another incredible edition to a wonderful series.

Summary:
Things come to a head as Michael’s plans to get the girls out of the way come to a head. Eve decides to follow up on a hunch and uncovers a secret that could change Marley’s life forever. Eve faces the terrible whither she should tell Marley or if she should keep the knowledge to herself. Christian has to face the limitations of his present existence of not being of more help to the girls. Cassie’s date with Michael comes to a head in the most unexpected and horrible way.

This is a fast paced and fascinating edition to the Twisted series. I for one would love to see this made into a TV series. I love how the audiobooks enhance the readers enjoyment as the narrator brings each of the characters to life. This book leaves the reader waiting to find out how it will all end as the team and everyone remains in mortal danger.

Secrets are revealed.

In this 'midseason finale' lots of secrets are revealed, Michael shows just how low he can go, and the entire thing ends with a bang! (or a splash) This episode delivers a ton of action, and ends with quite a cliffhanger. This definitely would have made one heck of a TV episode. I will say Michael's knowledge of humans seems rather inconsistent, but that honestly doesn't detract that much from the story. Looking forward to seeing what comes next.
