Through listening to this book, I have also realised that "SOMETIMES IN LIFE YOU HAVE TO LET OTHER PEOPLE DOWN, SO YOU DON'T LET YOURSELF DOWN" this story felt somewhat semi-biographical. It highlighted multi cultural characters with real issues.
Yet the main story about character Jasmine building her career as a writer whilst being engaged to a social media influencer showed alot of reality. It also showed that fans of reality tv 📺shows are extremely fickle! No-one should ensure hate for making a decision that is right for themselves.
I will definitely find out more about the author Valerie Tajeda as she seems intriguing.
The narrator Stacy Gonzalez did her job very well voicing different characters.
Also Jazmines friendship with Leo is what real relationships should be built on, a strong foundation and real love should never be difficult, it should feel right and easy.
I recommend this listen and I am lucky that I didn't have to use a credit because this book was FREE to hear through the Plus Catalogue included membership 🌠
