Great audiobook..for historical content

loved it and I believe it to be historically correct, unfortunately, the treatment of America's Native Indians and the Buffalo Soldiers was disgusting.

Forgotten Warriors

this audiobook is an excellent history of the trials, trials, as well as lack of appreciation of the black American contribution to the settlement of the Western United States!!!!

Best of the best

This is one of the best black military history audiobooks I think ever narrated or the best I've ever listened to or heard and as a historian, I have read many I have another I would categorize as best is Empire of the Summer Moon both are great illustrations or the early western hardships of both sides on the plains of nowhere for some and home for others. These audiobooks are very detailed yet not too wordy just very good audiobooks.

Good listen

Totally enjoyed listening to this audiobook. Good chapter-turner but not difficult to listen to. Tells you all about human connection and how one person can have an impact on someone’s life.

I really enjoyed listening!

After you have been nice to strangers, now they lock you up enslave and take your land, all these indignant people in this book are some very proud and strong people. A very good listen!
