Disappointing, bad narration

I’m a big fan of gold rush books so was looking forward to this one as there aren’t many about Klondike. It was pretty disappointing though. It seemed to follow a couple of random characters and was hard to follow. Probably not helped by the really poor robotic narration. Why do these people get chosen?!?
