spoiled the overall rendition. simplistic story. obvious plot but good for the author for not making the romance side childish.

A variety of characters. I particularly liked the mother/daughter relationship.
The ‘baddy’ was the least convincing.
Entertaining animals.
Cosy community.
Pretty countryside.
I’d definitely listen to another of Jo Bartlett’s stories.
