** The new heart-stopping emotional thriller from the Queen of the Big Reveal **

Robyn 'Avril' Managa was twelve when she witnessed her controlling and abusive father murder her mother. Put into care while her well-connected father was given a new identity in Witness Protection, Robyn has lived with the trauma of that day ever since.

Now in her twenties, Robyn has decided she wants a family reunion - so is killing people connected to her father's case, leaving on their bodies the note: GIVE HIM TO ME.

Dr Kez Lanyon is called onto the case. But can Kez get into Robyn's mind before she kills again? Or is she about to become Avril's latest victim?

Profiler and therapist Kez Lanyon returns in a gripping new stand-alone novel from Sunday Times bestselling author Dorothy Koomson.

Critic reviews

A riveting revenge thriller with a dark streak of feminist rage. Clever, complex and utterly compulsive, it pairs a gripping premise with a sobering theme. Violence against women, abuse, power and corruption are all explored with skill, perfectly topped off with a signature big reveal (Kia Abdullah)
A gripping return for Every Smile You Fake's Kez
An unforgettable world you've never seen before, with characters who will stay with you (Claire McGowan)
An author who never fails to pull the rug from under your feet when you least expect it
A taut, compulsive page-turner
A jaw-dropping and nail-biting read
A twisty psychological thriller from a master of suspense, they don't call Koomson "the Queen of the Big Reveal" for nothing

I have been a long time fan of Dorothy Koomson and this story lived up to my expectations, keeping me gripped and not wanting to stop listening. Great storyline, good twists, characters, great to have Kez back and first class narration.

This is a really interesting story. It kept me engaged to the end, though it was a difficult listen at times because of the hard subject matter. The narration was brilliantly done. Though ‘pick up the gun kez’ is now living rent free in my head. I think the ending let it down a little but definitely a recommended read from D.K as usual.

Great story, great narration

The characters in this book are superb. I couldn’t wait to get stuck in after the last Kes book. And this does not disappoint. Gripping, twisty, steamy and heart wrenching all in one book. I absolutely loved it and the voice actors were perfect.
I really hope Dorothy Koomson writes a sequel.

Strong female lead character
