Boring stories, expertly read!
I found this a thoroughly tedious and tiring listen, despite Stephen’s usual excellent delivery. The stories weren’t scary or even spooky, and I found my mind wandering as I disengaged with the story. Disappointing

A pleasant listen because of Stephen Fry’s narration
A pleasant listen but not scary or even spooky. Would love more spookiness. However Stephen Fry can read anything and I’d want to listen to him!

Stephen Fry"s superb delivery of these timeless Classics.
I liked everything about it! I remembered some of the stories from my own reading, but Stephen Fry made them come alive!

Absolutely marvelous
What a treat. Perfect for the fall & cosy winter evenings by the fire. At first, I was unsure about the sound effects, but after a couple of minutes I got used to them and they really create a beautiful atmosphere. Even gave me a jumpscare once.
Thank you, Mr. Fry, I cannot wait what you will do next.

Loved so much but....
Completely fab but it makes me want a Stephen Fry does M R James edition or a Fry does Algernon Blackwood edition. I'm sure the Mr Fry could think of all sorts of interesting things to say about those writers, too.
This volume is well worth a listen but has left me wanting a lot more.
