Getting the Axe is a wonderfully written enemies-to-lovers romance; it's engaging, funny, and totally entertaining. Noah and Elle were such delightful characters, absolutely appealing and realistic. Despite Elle's terrible childhood, she is grown into a strong, well-rounded, and feisty woman. Elle and Noah's connection was unquestionably one of passion; I had loads of fun listening to them banter.

Willa James did an excellent job with the narration. She portrayed the characters nicely, capturing the emotions and chemistry. I really enjoyed the audiobook, especially the humour.

Elle has had a horrible, but is wonderful , kind ,generous. While Noah is one grump man.
