"Get Running! Running Motivation by Hypnosis" is an effective relaxation training that utilizes classic hypnosis and mental coaching techniques. The 28-minute program is geared toward runners and those who would like to become one. With help from the so-called "mental movie technique", you'll visualize your run during the hypnosis. This will allow your subconscious to receive the impulses it needs and which you can access at any time when you're really out there running.

Do not listen to this program while operating a motor vehicle or during any other activity that requires your full attention. This program does not replace a doctor or any other medical aids. The best effect can be achieved by listening to this program once a day over a period of four weeks. The audiobook consists of two chapters. You can choose either to listen to the book with a wake-up phase (chapter one) or if you wish to fall asleep just listen to chapter two.

Really helpful

I don't know if this would have happened anyway, but my confidence and discipline with my running training have really improved. I've stopped feeling bad about less than perfect runs too, and am just enjoying them for what they are. As a result my distance and pace are increasing more painlessly than before.

Some of that might be a natural consequence of running itself, but I do date this change from when I started using this recording.
