Other books I have read on this subject have been overly dramatic all or nothing. It was so refreshing to listen to a book that took a balanced approach - no use of the word poison or toxic - just good sensible, practical advice

I keep referring back to this book - I would highly recommend it

Sensible down to earth advice

This book condenses everything you need to know about what to eat and more importantly why to eat these things.
It can be too easy to read these types of books and feel bad about your own diet but this book is one of inclusivity and understanding that we don’t always get it right.
The breakdown into actionable changes was a brilliant way to structure the book and made a complex topic simple and easy.

Fun and factual

It helped me understand what was causing my inflammation and pain and now I can control it with the right foods at the right time.

Wonderful advice

I am not sure who this book is aimed at. It varies between quite interesting and banal and is preachy throughout with an odd use of the vernacular that simply doesn't work. The author sounds like she is reading lecture notes and really should have got a professional to read it.
I had hoped to hear some current scientific discussion but it is filled with correlation not causation with the inevitable meandering to neurodiversity and a vacuous diatribe on climate change and a section 'hacks' that have been well trodden by others. This is possibly the least informative book I have read/heard on the subject and the 2nd worst choice on Audible.

Possibly the worst book on an interesting subject
