Garrison Jarvie had officially been a cowboy for two years now. It came naturally to him, and anyone who didn’t know his history would assume he’d been a cowboy all of his life.
The only problem with living in the small ranching community of Mission Valley, Texas, was the lack of available women. In Miami, where he’d grown up, he’d been popular, and he’d dated quite a bit. But since moving to the Double J, his dating life was pretty much non-existent.
When he finally met someone he found interesting, he was a little disappointed that she had no interest in dating him or anyone else. Angel Gentry, the local farrier, was going to make him work for it. Garrison didn’t mind a challenge. Even though she had the reputation of being extremely private and unsociable, he knew that sooner or later, he’d win her over.
