Summary

Faith McMann comes home to a nightmare: her husband is killed and her son and daughter are taken. Although the intruders leave her for dead, she survives. Crippling grief and fear for her children make life unbearable. Until her anguish turns to anger...and she trades victimhood for vengeance.

Frustrated with the law's efforts, she takes action to rescue her children - and wreaks havoc on the brutal criminals who tore them from her. With her family and newfound allies at her side, Faith descends into the hellish underworld of human trafficking, determined to make those who prey on the innocent pray for mercy.

The forces she's up against have already proven that their ruthlessness knows no bounds. And there's nothing they won't do to turn Faith's crusade into a suicide mission. But they're about to learn that nothing is more dangerous than a mother fighting for her children - especially one who's earned the nickname Furious.

A new subject for me... interesting. Glad to be able to go straight into book two. I think book 1 is just the taster.

Pronunciation poor

Good story line poorly read. I found the pronunciation of some of the names most notably Craig (pronounced Cray-g correctly but as Creg in narration) was driving me mad by end of book.
Also feel that the narrator puts to much emphasis on words such as and, the have etc which causes loss of flow in the narration. I want to listen/read the other books in the trilogy but know they will be spoilt by the narration. I’d have been very unhappy if I’d paid full price for the audiobook but fortunately have kindle unlimited...

Gripping story

I have to download the next book to follow the story. There really are people in this world as evil as portrayed.

Robotic Narrator

the narrator sounded like a robot at times. over pronouncing consonants and speaking in a stilted manner. it made the characters sound idiotic. story was OK.

furious

The story is good, and deals with a very real horror that takes place right under our eyes. Human trafficking, and although the story itself brings all kids of emotions and does keep you hoping for the main character, the ending was extremely disappointing. I don't know if there is a sequel to this book, but the way it ended makes me think there has to be.
Unsatisfying end. Most mystery thriller novels have at least a happy conclusion to leave the reader satisfied. But not this one.
The performance is great. Good characters, just a lousy ending!!

Warning: This is the first in a serialized series!

Furious ends in a cliffhanger situation that will be resolved in future books in the series.

Furious is a serious thriller novel about sex trafficing of children. The suspense is intense and constant. It is a wonderful novel. It is an very troubling novel. It is a solid 5 star novel. Narration is excellent.

Hard to put down.

Great storytelling. Non stop action and well developed characters. This is one of my favorite genres and this book would easily be in my top10. If you like a fast paced, thriller don't hesitate to grab this one. I don't want to give any spoilers. but it does end with a cliffhanger. I am looking forward to the next installment. I've never been disappointed with T. R. Ragan and the narration on this one is superior.

Wake up call as a parent!!!!

This audiobook gave a very realistic insight on the trafficking of children. Certain parts were hard to listen to knowing that these things are actually happening to these innocent babies and at the hands of these powerful monsters. On one side you have the greedy peddler abducting and pimping out innocent children and on the other you have a the lowest form of scum waiting in line to buy them...pure disgust!
Narration was outstanding!
I'm really looking forward to the next book in this series as I hate being left out there with a cliffhanger like this.

gripping

I believe that this is T.R. Ragans debut, it's hard to wrap my mind around human trafficking...I loved the characters that are so fearless, and a mother's fury. Edge of my seat the whole time, getting the next book right now!

Furious

A good read but left you hanging in the end. I couldn't find a second book so hopefully there will be one that will continue the story.

Simply Perfect Eh

Very excited for book 2 in the series! Excellent command presence for a storyline! I work for DHS and have a lot of faith in the Blue Campaign.

Read, don't listen

I think this is the first bad review I've ever given on here. I feel that to not leave a review would be doing a disservice to other listeners.
This seems like it could be a good story. Unfortunately, I can't get through it because I can't deal with the narrator.
I spend a lot of time listening to audiobooks. There have been a few narrators that weren't great. But this is the first time the narration has been so bad that I couldn't finish the book.
Maybe I'll pick it up on Kindle and give it a try.

Just OK

I felt like this story has been done before. The character development was good but at times unrealistic. The Mom never really seemed "in touch" with true maternal emotions. Some parts were cheesy like how they called each other assigned nicknames even when they knew the real names. This book should be aimed more at teens - it read a bit like a made for TV movie.
