Perfect for my level

I've been learning for some time now and know the basics already, so I went straight for the second book after listening to the sample. I really like the way this has been put together, it keeps your interest with short segments and fantastic explanations which I have felt lacking in other spanish learning audiobooks that I have tried previously. I enjoy the real world examples and scenarios and the pace is speed is easy to follow. I would definitely recommend this and have already sent this to a friend and fellow spanish learner as I think it is a really fantastic learning tool.

The best and I’ve tried a few...

Very structured build and story lines, with some great examples of common slang phases. Paul Noble’s two courses are also excellent, but the superpolyglots shade it, as their two courses are 50% longer overall and hence go into more depth. I’d highly recommend both authors.

Excellent course

This is an excellent Spanish course and believe me I've tried a lot of them. I feel I've made more headway with this one (beginners then fundamental) than any other. it has an ongoing storyline that I think helps fix not just the words you're learning in your memory but the context in which they are used (helped by useful explanations from the brothers). In my view this is an underrated course (in terms of popularity) as it was better than Paul Noble's course which may be good to start if you are an absolute beginner but after I would suggest using this (and beginners Spanish story books) if you really want to improve your understanding of written and spoken Spanish

The perfect book to follow Paul Noble's 2 courses.

This is a very well constructed course to develop vocabulary, not only in the context of the situation being used to further one's knowledge, but also with the choice of colloquial or often used vocabulary to express the same meaning in different situations to that being taught.
The inclusion of words based on a core word, to extend the vocabulary, in a pattern, is great ie. words like maintain, contain, explain might be taught together just to promote easier learning even if not applicable to the context. ( My example and not theirs.) If a word has a negative like incapable, the theme is developed to illustrate other negatives that do mostly start "in" whereas in English we use both 'in' (as in invariable) and 'un" as in undiscovered. That fact alone adds hundreds of new words to understand, if not to learn.
A list of vocabulary is given to start a new chapter with the English, therefore, you are tuned into what you are going to hear. Another useful aid to remembering and understanding, even if one does not actually use the words immediately.
I just find that their presentation, the peripheral concepts taught along the way and the practice questions given to test understanding (and more), just work, and I have developed a level of confidence and ability to speak ,as well as understand ,Spanish far beyond that expected. Learning a language goes in bumps. Almost the more one learns the more it becomes apparent how much you do not know. The verbs tenses, the grammar etc. are all so well explained and used to move me along. The book teaches in short chunks. Still a basis but a very useful one.
Sometimes my concentration goes, especially drifting when I am falling asleep ,so I have played the book through three times on a timer. (Missed some parts, I admit.) It is then that I appreciate the structure of the lessons more and I always find information that I did not take on fully first or second time. I once heard that you have to hear a word ten times in context to learn it. Paul Noble did that well in his beginners' and intermediate courses. This builds vocabulary in a similar but more sophisticated way at this level because of the inclusion of explanations and extras!
Other readers gave excellent reviews and I am grateful to them, as this book has brought me joy through covid, sepsis and a serious illness over quite a short period. Never too old to learn something new.
This is the best course that I have ever used, having studied other languages, and the least tiresome. Enjoy!

Excellent resource...thoroughly recommended

I`ve absolutely loved this audiobook as it`s been a really good help for refreshing my existing knowledge of Spanish in advance of my forthcoming DELE exam. The language analysis and grammar focus are particularly good, as is the cheat section at the end of each recording. The accompanying PDF is also great as you can check things back later. PLEASE; PLEASE bring out book 3.

Exceptional follow on course

First class course. Easy to follow with excellent explanations, a sound course structure and a huge amount of Spanish grammar and vocabulary that is well explained.

The course has helped me significantly and I have no hesitation in recommending.

Just wondering now when the next Spanish course from the two twin brothers will be available??? I need to learn more!!!

Excellent

This is truly excellent.
I was a bit dubious at first. It's a tad "cheesy" for my taste, but I persevered and soon realised that these guys have got a very good system worked out.
It's very well thought out, very well put together and generally, I would say, it's one of the best Spanish teaching resources out there.
I really hope they do a volume 3!
