This is a great exercise in thinking

This is a great exercise in thinking outside of the box. Some of the riddles are a little long but most of them are just one short sentence that teaches the kids to paying attention to the question and it’s working.

I love a good riddle

I love a good riddle; it's something that my teenage great-nieces try to stump me with when they visit. Some in this book were so easy that I don't even think a child would be unable to come up with the answer quickly, which can be good if it helps boost their self-esteem to think that they “get it.” Others will certainly make a smart child “stretch” to figure out the answers. That’s part of what I love about riddles.

The riddles really had me thinking and

The riddles really had me thinking and stumped me on a few. My 10-year-old had a little more trouble getting the answers than my 8-year-old, so I think 8-10 is a good age range but really it has been fun for our family all day.

I like the performance of the narrator. I feel like some riddles need more time to think about and pausing the audiobook does the work, otherwise you'll be given around 10 seconds to answer the riddles.
