The Germans gave it another name, now synonymous with mankind’s darkest hours. They called it Auschwitz. Forced to do hard labour, starved and savagely beaten, Arthur thought his life would end in Auschwitz. Determined to go down fighting, he sabotaged Nazi industrial work, risked his life to alleviate the suffering of the Jewish prisoners and aided a partisan group planning a mass breakout.

Summary
'I'm just a nitwit girl who's sort of stumbling through life learning that we all have our own roads to walk - but that it's still valuable, and rather lovely, to hear about other people's journeys....'
A warm, illuminating memoir full of wit and wisdom that doubles up as a life guide for millennials - by Irish YouTuber Melanie Murphy. Growing up in an online age, becoming an Internet sensation with half a million followers on her YouTube channel, Irish girl Melanie Murphy's journey has been far from ordinary.
Here, in her first audiobook, she shares the ups and downs of her life. From dealing with online bullying to living with anxiety and eating disorders to coping with acne and coming to terms with her sexuality, Melanie shows us how through difficult times we can learn the most about ourselves. And that by learning to value and love ourselves, we can overcome whatever life throws at us.

Loved it
I usually don't ever read YouTubers' books, but i knew from watching Melanie's YouTube channel for over 2-3 years that she had some very interesting life experiences, is very well spoken and funny and has something meaningful to say. For all her young years she has had many life lessons and is a wise young lady. I was listening to the book every night before bed on my short vacation and thoroughly enjoyed it, it was almost like listening to a close friend of mine. On the one hand it's a very light and entertaining read/listen and on the other hand there were many topics that'd provoked contemplation on my part regarding my own life. All in all I recommend her book. Way to go Mel! 💚

I'm a fan of Melanie Murphy's YouTube channel and got excited about this book. Honestly, this was the first audible book I finished. I have to wake up early for my job, but listening to Melanie narrate about her life struggles with humor and what she learned gave me something to look forward to each day while driving. As a bisexual, I applaud her explanation about the dilemma of not being taken seriously as a bi. It is extremely rare to see positive bi representation in the media, fortunately this is one of them.

A must read for girls in their 20s!
loved this book! melanie's voice is so soothing to listen to. in my opinion this is a great read for girls in their 20s as Melanie is refreshingly open and honest about all of her millennial struggles ranging from acne, depression, social media, dating, sexuality, and more. i found her stories super relatable and her spot on analogies made me laugh out loud. i felt like i was listening to a best friend. her positive take on everything her life experiences have taught her so far is super inspiring and will leave you feeling optimistic about the bumps along the way.
