For starters, I appreciate vegetables on a whole other level so this piqued my interest. I've tried growing simple things like chili peppers but didn't think of this. Very useful and a good call! When you get to the part about harvesting it gets more interesting!

Since the Pandemic, my wife, kids and I have been cooking more together. Since inflation has spiked, we considered starting a garden. This book is an amazing resource and has gotten us excited about gardening in order to save money and create a fun family activity. And, we’re helping the environment at the same time. Talk about a win win win… We only wish we’d listened to this audiobook at the beginning of the pandemic!

Anyone interested in gardening may find this to be a useful resource. Even though I've been gardening for the better part of 40 years, I still have a lot to learn. The author discussed methods of indoor gardening such as the use of LED lights and hydroponics, both of which had never occurred to me before. This book also provided in-depth information on how to use cloches and cold frames to extend the growth season for an outdoor garden.

This book is up to date for gardening in the midst of the epidemic, with an emphasis on how to turn gardening into a healthy hobby for the whole family and a rewarding way to contribute to the community. For as much as we spend on food and seeds, I wish we had put more emphasis on recycling our kitchen waste into new plants. His suggestion that you save seed from your harvest to use in the next year was a brilliant option.

This book is perfect for a novice gardener because it covers topics such as the essential equipment, soil health, plant selection, fertilizers, and pest management. The book offers numerous eco-friendly strategies for dealing with garden pests.

All the pieces are there for a classic gardening guide.
