About this listen

What happens when we die? How does our present life shape our future? What part of us survives death? From Death to Birth takes us on a vivid tour of the soul's journey from one lifetime to another, revealing little known or understood aspects of spiritual life along the way. Through a series of lively stories drawn from the ancient scriptures and his own experience, Pandit Rajmani Tigunait reveals the truth about karma, how we create it, why it becomes our destiny, and how we can use it to shape the future of our dreams.

Critic reviews

“Pandit Rajmani generously reveals little known and little understood aspects of spiritual life, which makes this book a veritable treasure.” (Georg Feuerstein, Director, Yoga Research Center, Yoga World)
“In From Death to Birth, Pandit Rajmani Tigunait provides an in-depth study of the process of karma and rebirth, with many detailed examples and interesting stories to highlight the great truths that he has gathered from the Yoga tradition.... It is perhaps the most illuminating study of the subject to come out in recent years.” (David Frawley, Director, American Institute of Vedic Studies)

The tone of the book comes across as rigid. The author is Swami Rama’s successor (who is a convicted sexual abuser/paedophilic) and this particular writer took over from him as Spiritual Director. I’m struggling to find any apology or acknowledgement on the Himalayan Institutes website about the abuse Rama committed which is disappointing in this day and age.
