I was completely held by the story, beautifully drawn characters, lots of suspense and brilliantly narrated

Not my usual type of read but once into the story it became intriguing and I needed to know the outcome. The book is of course a classic and very much a product of its time and if listened to this with this in mind becomes enjoyable.
