I enjoyed listening to the story with all its twists and turns. It was well written and pacy. However, the narrator was very poor when it came to voicing characters.
ALL the men in the story had the same voice - a strangled, screeching shout muffled as if they were trapped inside a glass box. Equally all the older women had a similar but higher- pitched screeching shout. For the younger women, he reserved a creepy, whispering-drag-queen voice. Quite terrible. No way of distinguishing characters from each other. Shame, as it was a fascinating tale. I made it to the end however even with the narration and was glad I did.

Great story. Dodgy narration.
