Five years ago, Zeph met River. The timing couldn’t have been worse. An orphan with something to prove and the ghosts of his past breathing down his neck, Zeph took the offer from a pro-MMA gym to live and train in the Midwest. River let him go easily. This is a brilliant book and I enjoyed following River after meeting him in Flaunt. Zeph and River reconnect after five years their chemistry between them leads to some steamy scenes.

This series is well beyond what I hoped for. The characters are unique and the situations so out of the norm that they don’t seem like they could work but they are amazing I loved every second of this book and I know this is an author I need more of. Love this book

I really like stories about Drag Queens and fighters, there’s something so very interesting about both things. I liked the chemistry between River and Zeph. I thought Joel Leslie narrated this so well, I enjoy his voice and the way he changes voice for characters. He narrates at a great, easy to listen to pace. I thought the story about River and Zeph was interesting and they were hot and sexy. A totally great listen that I definitely recommend.

Really wonderful story. Great and deep characters, great plot and beautifully written. River was an interesting side character in book 1 and I'm happy we got to know him better and learn his story in this book.Him and Zeph were beautiful together . They had to work hard to get to their happy ending but I loved reading about their journey. The narrator was brilliant too
