All of the books in this series are very good listening. But this one is particularly engaging. Pavel is such a sweet kind hero ( to his love, certainly not his enemies) that you just fall in love with him yourself. Needless to say the narrators are brilliant and bring the story to life.

I’m not normally one to write reviews but I was compelled to leave one for this book. As a sexual assault survivor myself I was very anxious about this book but it was honestly so beautifully, safely and carefully written. I wasn’t triggered, I cried a lot but mostly for the absolute love, devotion, patience and care shown by Pavel to Asya. I’m absolutely a smut lover and all things dark romance, but this book wasn’t written in that way.

I love how the narrators depicted pure emotion and empathy as well, which given some of the scenes couldn’t have been at all easy. Overall, one of my top 5 books and I have over 1500 audiobooks in my library.

A truly brilliant book, amazing author and fabulous narration all round. Can’t wait for the rest of the series to drop. Gregory and Allison have absolutely smashed this series and I’m so pleased they’ve narrated all of the books so they too get to see the stories develop across these worlds. Thank you Neva ❤️
