Damaged. Broken. Destroyed. I’ve heard it all. A single moment of trusting the wrong person shattered my life into pieces, and my family has never looked at me the same. It’s impossible to convince them that I’m anything more than the broken girl they rescued all those years ago.

Until I meet him.

Ramsey’s grumpy demeanor and menacing scowl scare most of the world away. But not me. Not when I’ve seen his gentle hands soothe an abused colt or comfort a terrified mare.

And when I finally get up the courage to strike out on my own, Ramsey’s there. Roommates felt like such a safe proposition until Ramsey’s lingering touches and wicked smile light a fire in me I don’t think will ever be extinguished. And he feels it, too....

But just as my new life begins to take root, an evil from my past emerges from the shadows, casting a darkness on my newfound freedom. And this time, they won’t settle for pieces of me. They want everything....

I have been waiting for Shiloh’s story since she first appeared in ‘Tatterd Stars’, and this definitely didn’t disappoint. I’m just sad that this is the end of the ‘Tattered and Torn’ series.

Through this entire series, the glimpses I’ve seen of Shiloh really intrigued me. I was rooting for her to get her life back and feel happiness after the horrific trauma she faced at just ten years old. In ‘fractured sky’, she finally gets that with Ramsey.
And just like with Shiloh, I became really intrigued with Ramsey after seeing glimpses of him in ‘Shattered Sea’.
I’m so happy these two were able to come together and heal through their pain together and get their HEA. They both deserve it.

I can’t believe that’s the end of this series. It’s really been one of my favourite series of 2022. I can’t wait to see where Catherine takes us next.

I have listened to the audiobook twice now, and I’m sure I will be listening again. Both Erin Mallon and Joe Arden did an absolute amazing job in bringing the characters of Shiloh and Ramsey to life. It was very enjoyable to listen to their narration.

If you haven’t already started ‘Tattered and Torn’ series, then I highly recommend you do. This entire series has just been perfection. No one writes romantic suspense quite like Catherine. Every single narrator who has taken part and lent their voices to the characters of this series have all done amazingly. I can’t recommend the audiobooks in this series more if I tried.

I’ve always been curious about Shiloh’s story, so I was glad to finally get to know more about her in this book. We already know what she’s been through, and I liked seeing her reach a point where she wants to start living a little more instead of continuing to keep everyone at a distance. Horses have always been such an important part of her life, so Ramsey’s work taking in and caring for traumatised horses felt like a natural fit for them. He understood that some things take time, and that made him someone Shiloh could slowly learn to trust.

Ramsey was such a good match for Shiloh. He might be the town outcast and come across as grumpy and intimidating to everyone else, but with her he was soft, patient, and protective. I liked watching them become more involved in each other’s lives and seeing how much they both grew through their relationship.

Aiden and Elliott were also great additions to the story. Their background was heart breaking, and I liked seeing them become part of Ramsey and Shiloh’s lives. And of course, Kai the wolf dog deserves a mention.

The two suspense storylines gave the book plenty going on, I thought they worked well alongside Shiloh and Ramsey’s relationship. There was a good mix of romance, suspense, and the family elements that have become such a big part of this series.

After following all these characters through the series, it was definitely a little bittersweet reaching the end.

Oh, how I LOVE a story that hits you with ALL THE FEELS!! Fractured Sky is one of those books. Add in the fact that it left me in a puddle of happy tears by the end… so perfect!

“You’ve opened him up to people. To life.”
A pang lit along my sternum. “I hope so because he’s done the same for me.”
“That’s the best we can hope for. Making each other better, giving each other a safe place to land.”

Ramsey has been such a mystery. Keeping to himself while rumors swirled, but when Shiloh needs him, he is quick to step up and be there for her.

“Maybe it wasn’t just Shiloh who’d lit up my world. It was possible I had done the same for her. That balance made for a relationship that would stand the test of time.”

Small town, suspense, danger, grumpy swoony hero, and characters who find a way to go beyond their pasts and forge a bright future together… Fractured Sky has it all!
I listened to most of this book on audio and loved the narration! It completely brought the characters to life for me!!

Surprise favourite of the series, definitely left one of the best till last.

Was a great story of two people who don’t talk much to the people of the town, keep to themselves, but are also totally different. There relationship just seem to work and the chemistry with them is just there.

Ramsey was just the perfect hero and exactly what Shiloh needed. She was also what he needed to get back to being with people and family.

Had to keep listening to this one. Loved the boys in the story too and loved their ending. The feels this book gives. Amazing!

I have been waiting for Shiloh's story since the first book in this series and it is fantastic. Packed full of healing, suspense and love, Catherine Cowles gives us everything in this one and I loved it. Shiloh was kidnapped at the age of ten and when finally found, she is broken. Overprotected by her family she breaks free and moves into Ramsey's guest cabin. Here she can watch him work his magic as he helps heal abused horses. And our story starts. Cowles creates their world, adding in a little suspense, a family of abused children and a budding love. Ramsey may be grumpy but he has a heart of gold. Shiloh is so strong, and she finds out just how resilient she is. I love the boys and the addition of Ramsey's farm, as it suits this couple perfectly. I also love getting to see others from the other four books too! They add that feeling of family and community, making it a listen that is like coming home. An amazing addition to this series, you will want to grab it right away.

Narrated by Erin Mallon and Joe Arden just enhances this story. Mallon knows how to hit all the emotions when it comes to Shiloh. She is a very complex character, and each layer has Mallon stretching her talent and making us feel Shiloh's emotions. Ramsey is a quiet man, but Arden finds his voice, whether inner monologue or conversation and makes him real. Each emotion is true and easy to feel. Loved their performance!

Incredible love story!
