Summary

She was my foster sister, her luxurious house the only home I'd ever known. I fell in love with Evie before her doctor parents signed my adoption papers.

They threw me out the day they caught us. Now I'm Dr. Jones, so far removed from who I used to be, it seems like a bad dream. I tell myself nothing can touch me. Until I see the residency roster at Alpine University Hospital.

There's only two incoming neurosurgery residents each year. This year it's Landon Jones - and Evie Rutherford.

Loved it!

This book has some very heartfelt and at times heart wrenching parts but Evie and Landon do their best to push through it all and find each other on the other side.

A heartfelt and lovely narrated story!!

This was such a great listen with heartache, pain and loss but true love prevails. I love Ms. James books. A wonderfully narrated and written story. I am such a fan of J.F. Harding and the angst and passion when I listen to him is so satisfying. Ms. Vincent, I need to hear more from you too because you also made this book a great listen for me. Thanks to everyone involved in this story.

O M G! The story has all the great feels that you'd expect from Ella James and the audio version was exactly as I had imagined, spot on! Good Job!

Loved it!

I thought book 2 was going to be my favorite but this one definitely was. You can’t help but fall in love with Landan and his story. This is a second chance live story for Evie and Landan. Landan abandoned at 2yrs old, put into the foster care system becomes a foster kid in Evie’s house, he falls in love with Evie at 16. Caught together by her parents on Christmas Eve was taken back to child services. They eventually lose all communication but 10 years later come face to face as doctors at the same hospital.
The narrators are the same in the first two books and so a great job with their narration.
