This was a fun mystery. As having once been a beagle owner I was slightly disappointed that some of there other love able traits weren't show cased, other than there stealing nature but other than that I enjoyed it. There is a lot going on in this mystery from a dog fighting ring to a locked room escape experience, so the hours just flew by listening to it. The characters and pets are fun and are the reason I keep coming back to this series. The mystery was interesting and took a direction I never saw coming but it did get wrapped up nicely. Off to start the next book.
Trinity is upset to open her pet store door to find an abandoned beagle puppy with a note attached to him claiming him a thief. Her boyfriend falls in love with the little guy and adopts him, leading Trinity into another murder investigation. The young pup digs up a rolex watch, one that had already been stolen and the thieves they know that found it. The Waterfalls sleuths track down the owner only to discover the watch isn't the only thing missing. If finding the owner was so easy will catching the thieves be so easy? Trinty doesn't want to get involved but when one of her customers who wants to buy three puppies seems off, she and her friends can't help but get involved but by doing so is she putting her and her friends lives in danger?
I liked the narrator. She has read a number of audio books that I have listened too and every one has been a real treat.
I was given this free review copy audiobook at my request and have voluntarily left this review.
